An introduction to birds of prey and the sport of falconry.
This event has ended.
Please note that there are two time slots available: 10:30am - 11:45am and 12pm - 1:15pm.
Join our friends from Skyhunters in Flight for a 60-75 minute introduction to some incredible birds of prey—think owls, hawks, and falcons—and the ancient art of falconry. Inside the Event Barn (fully heated!), we’ll learn fascinating facts about the birds, falconry husbandry, and handling techniques. Then, we’ll head outdoors for a hunting demonstration with plenty of great photo opportunities!
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session begins. This is a memorable experience for all ages, and children are welcome. However, they should be able to sit and stand quietly for 60+ minutes, as loud noises and rapid movements causes undue stress on the birds. Adult supervision is required at all times, and dogs are not permitted—no exceptions.
RSVP is required, and space is limited. A ticket is needed for each person (child or adult) attending. If the event is full, don’t worry! We’ll be adding more dates to the calendar, and there will be plenty of other chances to participate!
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a refund. For questions, please contact Marcy at membership@inness.co.
