🌿 Join Darich Pérez Reyes of Wild Culture Kitchen for a hands-on adventure into the world of fermentation! In this workshop, you’ll craft naturally fizzy, refreshing sodas using fresh herbs and fruits, and learn to transform food scraps into vibrant, flavorful vinegars that can brighten any dish.
Together, we’ll explore the magic of fermentation—unlocking bold flavors, unique textures, and endless possibilities.
Each participant will create and take home two ferments: one bubbling soda and one vinegar-in-progress. You'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to nurture your ferments at home, bringing safe, simple, and flavor-packed fermentation into your everyday kitchen life.
Light snacks and refreshments will be available. Advance RSVP required. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event to receive a refund. For parking, please use the main lot at the top of the hill near the restaurant, and either walk down or request a ride from the front desk staff.
About the Instructor: Darich, originally from Puerto Rico, learned the art of fermentation from his grandmother. Now based in the Hudson Valley, he has been sharing his passion for fermentation through workshops for a decade and works in wine fermentation as well. Darich is thrilled to bring his expertise to the INNESS community!
