Unleash your creativity and connect with the tactile beauty of clay in this intimate hand-building pottery workshop. You’ll have the chance to create your own personalized mug, vase, bowl, or any other functional pottery piece. The session will begin with a short, guided demonstration on hand-building techniques, followed by time for you to explore and craft your own creation. You’ll learn to shape your piece using pinch, coil, and slab methods, gaining a deeper understanding of form and construction. Wine will be served.
Each participant will be provided with a portion of clay to work with. After the workshop, your piece will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick-up at INNESS approximately six weeks later. Shipping can be coordinated with the Front Desk staff for HOTEL GUESTS ONLY (for a fee). Please allow 7-8 weeks for shipped items to arrive.

Working with stoneware, Alex blends hand-building and wheel-thrown techniques to craft one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces that are both functional and beautifully unique, meant to be enjoyed every day.
RSVP is required, and cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund. Please email Marcy at membership@inness.co with questions.
Please note that this workshop will take place in the Lower Member Lounge, located below the Restaurant. Please pop into the Farm Shop (glass building near main parking area) for directions if you're unfamiliar with the property!
