A low-pressure art experience focused on observation, storytelling, and self-expression. Designed for complete beginners, this nostalgic, hands-on workshop invites guests to slow down, notice their surroundings, and create something personal during their stay.
Participants will create one or several illustrated postcards using gouache and white ink details, inspired by the landscapes, objects, and atmosphere of the Catskills. Through simple techniques exploring light, texture, and contrast, guests will leave with small works they can send home or keep as a memory of their time at INNESS. All of the art supplies will be provided and wine will be served.
RSVP is required. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to qualify for a refund. We also kindly ask that all guests park in the main lot at the top of the hill and make your way down to the Farmhouse on foot or request a ride from the front desk staff. Please leave your pups at home.
