An introduction to birds of prey and the sport of falconry.
This event has ended.
Join our friends from Skyhunters in Flight for a 90-minute introduction to some incredible birds of prey—think owls, hawks, and falcons—and the ancient art of falconry. We'll gather in the Event Barn to learn fascinating facts about the birds, falconry husbandry and handling techniques. Then, we’ll head outdoors for a hunting demonstration with plenty of great photo opportunities!
This is a memorable (and educational!) experience for all ages. However, younger children should be able to sit and stand quietly for 60+ minutes, as loud noises and rapid movements causes undue stress on the birds. Adult supervision is required. Dogs are not permitted, and we are unable to make exceptions.
Space is limited. A ticket is required for each child or adult in attendance. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a refund.
