A fun baking experience tailored to children, where they'll learn how to make yummy blueberry pie pockets, using simple ingredients in this hands-on class for beginner bakers!!
Class will take place in the Farmhouse Hotel Kitchen. RSVP is required. This class is open to registered INNESS members of all ages! Children under 5yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Cancellations require 48 hours notice in order to qualify for a refund. Please note that all guests must park their cars in the main lot at the top of the hill, near the restaurant, and venture down the hill by foot or request a ride from the front desk staff.
More about the instructor: Jaclyn Fonseca is a classically trained pastry chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After finishing CIA, she went on to graduate from SUNY New Paltz with a history degree and maintains a broad interest in food history. Moving down to Austin, Texas, she started a successful baking business selling scones and pies at farmers markets, wholesale and retail locations. Ultimately missing the Northeast, Jaclyn moved back to the Hudson Valley to open a boutique cake business which focuses on the beloved and locally grown produce that tastes like home!
