We're hosting our third annual Halloween Spooktacular for our youngest members on *Friday, October 27th starting at 5pm with trick-or-treating, followed by a kid's DJ'd dance party in the Event Barn from 6pm - 8pm. Please RSVP accordingly so we have an accurate headcount!
Here's what to expect:
4:45pm - 5pm: Everyone will meet on the Hilltop, to strut their stuff and show off their costumes! Members of all ages are welcome to participate! Dogs in costume are encouraged, but must be leashed at all times! Please take your dogs temperament into consideration before bringing them to a busy/noisy event.
5pm - 6pm: Trick-or-treating will begin at 5pm sharp. The Halloween parade will make several stops throughout the property so please be prepared to venture up/down the big hill. The final stop on our excursion will be the Event Barn where the kid's dance party kicks off at 6pm.
6pm - 8pm Kid's Dance Party with Live DJ! Winners of the Best Homemade Costume, Funniest Costume and Spookiest Costume will announced at the dance party with fun prizes! There will be complimentary kid-friendly beverages and snacks available, as well as beer & wine for purchase at the party. Kid-friendly dinner options for purchase will be out of the grill bar at the hilltop.
We'll also be hosting a simultaneous happy hour in the Gatehouse bar for the 21+ crowd this evening - more information to come on that! :)
More about the DJ: Eric EQ is a supernatural sound sorcerer with a DJ career that's taken him to legendary haunted locales worldwide. From parties at the Amityville mansion and the Overlook Hotel to Transylvania's Dracula Castle, he's spun spine-tingling beats for the most famous ghosts, monsters, vampires, and witches. Prepare to dance with the undead under his hypnotic spell.
Please note that members may bring guests to the kid's dance party for a small entry fee. Please purchase the appropriate ticket in advance so your name is on the list. Please RSVP by 10/25. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance in order to qualify for a refund. All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Drop-off for older kids is permitted, but there will be limited adult supervision.
