This vinyasa-style class is tailored to members’ changing needs and levels of experience, with a focus on linking breath to body in a moving meditation. Expect to work on flexibility, strength, coordination and concentration with an eye towards clarity and balance of mind, body and spirit. Sweaty joyfulness optional, but encouraged! Leave feeling calmer and more energized! All levels welcome.

Mats, blocks and blankets are included, or you may bring your own props. Please dress in comfortable layers, bring water and a small sweat towel if needed. Class will be hosted in the gym, located on the lower level of the restaurant building.

Laura Olson wants to live in a world where everyone does yoga, where healthy and decadent mean the same thing, and where everyone breaks out in (musical theater) song at regular intervals. She is impassioned about helping people infuse their lives with healthy and delicious food, spiritual and sweaty yoga and simple yet meaningful rituals to create a delectable, sustainable and joyous lifestyle. As a former dancer, Laura has always been kinesthetic, but yoga is what made her finally feel at home in herself. Daily practice has been central to her development of self-understanding and whole-being health and wellness. A devoted Ashtangi since 2000 and teacher since 2003, Laura is steeped in tradition and yet a reverently rebellious yoga teacher. She teaches both Ashtanga and Ashtanga-influenced vinyasa along with breathwork, chanting and more in workshops, classes, and private lessons in the Catskills, Hudson Valley, and New York City. Her offerings are infused with exuberance and a deep love for sharing the joy of a delectable life with her fellow humans.
