Join us for a cozy cake-decorating workshop in the Farmhouse Kitchen where you'll learn how to stack, crumb coat and adorn your very own 3-tier, 6-inch Vanilla Cake with Matcha Buttercream Frosting, Strawberries and Fresh Flowers! Each participant will take away their masterpiece in a proper cake box to enjoy at home, or gift to a loved one. Coffee/tea will be served. Ages 18+.
Members: The discounted member tickets are for registered members only. Members are welcome to bring a guest to the workshop, but a "Hotel Guest" ticket must be purchased.
Hotel Guests: Please select a "Hotel Guest" ticket at checkout and register under the name attached to your hotel reservation.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance in order to qualify for a refund. Please note that all guests must park their cars in the main lot at the top of the hill near the restaurant and venture down the hill by foot, or request a ride from the front desk staff. Please allow yourself 10-15 minutes to make your way to the farmhouse.
More about the instructor: Jaclyn Fonseca is a classically trained pastry chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After finishing CIA, she went on to graduate from SUNY New Paltz with a history degree and maintains a broad interest in food history. Moving down to Austin, Texas, she started a successful baking business selling scones and pies at farmers markets, wholesale and retail locations. Ultimately missing the Northeast, Jaclyn moved back to the Hudson Valley to open a boutique cake business which focuses on the beloved and locally grown produce that tastes like home.
