More About Tess: Tess Kelly is a chef and the founder of Séraphine Workshops. After moving to France in 1986, she developed her passion for French cuisine while apprenticing under a pâtisserie chef in Paris, Madame Bernard. With years of experience in the NYC restaurant scene, Tess opened Séraphine Bakery in 2014, where she began offering engaging, hands-on workshops for all ages. Her classes emphasize a balanced, seasonal approach to cooking, inspired by her deep love for French cuisine, which began during her teenage years in Paris. In addition to French dishes, Tess enjoys exploring culinary traditions from Italy, Spain, India, and Morocco, and currently teaches both private and public workshops in New York and France.
