The folks from Earth Living Skills
will be making their debut at INNESS this fall with an 8-week series focused on outdoor survival skills, such as fire-building, plant identification and animal tracking. Children will make deep contact with the Earth through games, stories and hands on projects. These classes will invite children to use all of their senses to connect with nature and each other.
Dates: Friday 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 and 11/4 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. We will be hosting a ninth make-up class (date TBD) at the end of the series for children who may have missed a class and/or if class needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Please take note of the following:
- This series is for children ages 5 and up.
- Please dress your child in layers with sturdy footwear and send them to class with a snack, water bottle & bug spray in a backpack.
- The group will meet at the Event Barn.
- Please encourage your child to visit the restroom before class begins.
- Jess will not be on site for the lesson. If you have any questions, please contact her at email@example.com.
Please note that after school programming is only available to current INNESS members. This series requires an 8-week committment, and partial refunds will not be provided for missed classes. *We must reach a minimum number of sign-ups in order to host this class.
