In this weekly class, children are invited to come and unwind with some creative mixed media fun! In these classes, children (ages 6+) will explore various artistic mediums ranging from drawing, watercolor painting, collage, to embroidery. Emphasis will be placed on the process and developing joy for the mediums. All abilities are welcome!
Members get first priority however, your registered member child may opt to invite a friend to accompany them with a Member Guest ticket. These tickets will become available 1 week out from the scheduled date *if space allows.
Dates: Wednesdays - 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24 from 4:30-5:30pm *Please register for each week separately.
About the instructor: Alison Mones is a local illustrator, designer and embroidery artist from Woodstock, NY. She studied illustration at FIT and has experience working as a graphic artist in media production, as well as teaching art in a public high school, and as a Waldorf teacher for early childhood. Advance registration is required. This activity will take place in the Farmhouse kitchen. Please park in the main lot and walk down the hill. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund.
