Get ready for three fun-filled mornings at INNESS! Jess will be hosting a small kids camp over mid-winter break. Camp will focus on process art and emphasize the creative process, over the finished product. Some exciting science experiments will also be part of camp! We’ll be supplying all of the materials for a rich, open-ended experience that allows kids to explore at their own pace.
Some of the projects will be done as a group, some individually. Kids will have fun working with various mediums (clay, wood, paint, charcoal, fabric, chalk, and much more). There will also be plenty of time for free play, Lego building, snowy walks and other outdoor activities. This three-morning mini camp series is for kids ages 5 to 12. Exact location on property may vary day-to-day based on the activity and weather conditions.
Please note the following:
- This is a semi-structured camp morning (not a playgroup) that requires kids to be actively engaged for several hours over the course of three days. Please take this into account at sign-up.
- Children will need to arrive with a snack, full water bottle, lunch, and outdoor winter gear (waterproof snowpants and jacket, hats, mittens, boots, and EXTRA SOCKS)
- All of the art supplies will be washable, but a smock or change of clothes may come in handy!
- Drop off and pick-up will take place at the barn between 9:30-9:45am and 12:15-12:30pm.
